Tradewind Recruitment are working with a primary school in Sheffield that is seeking a Learning Support Assistant to work with them from September 2020. The successful Learning Support Assistant will be required to working on a one to one and small group basis with specific students within Year 3 and Year 4. The role will be for one academic year initially, with the potential to extend. The salary will be £13,450-14,800.

The role is in a friendly primary school based in North Sheffield. They want to create an environment in which children are exciting by their learning and want to come to school. They bring learning to life through experiences. trips and visitors. They have a great reputation within the local community and a welcoming staff team.

The successful Learning Support Assistant will be required to support the class teacher in delivering the KS2 National Curriculum across all subject areas, providing targeted support for individuals and small groups. The role will largely involve working with students with specific needs, including MLD, Behaviour difficulties and Autism. Team Teach would be advantageous for the role but not essential.

Essential requirements:
KS2 experience, Learning Support Assistant experience, SEN experience, DBS on update service or willingness to apply for a new one.
