Tradewind Recruitment is currently recruiting on behalf of a two-form entry Primary School in Ashton-Under-Lyne to start September 2020 and a contract will be offered to the successful candidate after a notice period. This is a full time, long-term role with a salary of £65 per day.

* Hold a Level 3 Teaching Assistant Qualification
* Be subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
* Provide a CV with at least 10 years employment/education history included and employment breaks must be explained
* Have the legal right to work in the UK

About the role

This primary school is looking for a Level 3 Teaching Assistant to work within KS1. The successful candidate must have prior experience of working with children in KS1.

The role itself will involve supporting the class teachers within KS1, both Year 1 and Year 2, supporting with all aspects of the National Curriculum. The successful Teaching Assistant will also have responsibility of their own phonics group of up to 12 students, they may also be required to take groups for sessions in fine motor skills, writing and guided reading.
