Tradewind are recruiting! Are you a PE teacher looking for daily and long term work?


Tradewind are currently working in partnership with an excellent school in North East Lincolnshire, who are in need of a Male PE teacher to start as soon as possible, for the month of January. This has the potential to be extended in the future into a longer term booking. This position is full time, and the school in question are looking for a strong practitioner who can become a regular with the school, and become a welcomed part of the academy. No planning and marking is expected for this position, you will simply be delivering pre-planned work from an excellent head of department. Payment for this position will be between £110.00 and £140.00 per day, depending on experience and qualifications. You will be responsible for teaching Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 classes, mainly working on a practical basis, with a small amount of classroom based BTEC work on the timetable. For that reason, we are looking for a passionate practitioner who is experienced working in a practical PE setting.


The School in question is a large Academy with good transport links and a strong sense of community spirit. Being in the heart of Grimsby, it is easily accessible via public transport, and has ample on site parking for those practitioners who do drive. The school hours are 8:30 - 3:15PM, with the school having five one hour lessons per day. The academy is part of an extremely successful academy chain, with excellent systems in place, ensuring that behaviour at the academy is good. With another member of the same academy chain in very close proximity, and the academies in regular contact with one another, this is an excellent opportunity to ensure regular work in the future.
