Are you looking for a long term teaching placement, working with GCSE Maths students?

Tradewind recruitment are working with a wonderful partnership school in Hull, who require an experienced and passionate Maths teacher, to work with small groups of students, providing Maths Intervention. This placement is 3 days per week, and initially will last between September and February half term (2021). Payment for this position will be between £100.00 and £140.00 per day, depending on experience and qualifications. This is a temporary position, but does have the potential to extend, and move into next year.

You will be working with small groups of students (up to 5 in a class), who require additional support and catch up with their Maths. Experience working with SEN students is desirable for this role, and experience working with GCSE classes is essential. All of the planning required will be provided by an excellent head of department, so there will be no planning for this position. No marking is required outside of work hours, so this is an excellent position for a practitioner looking for more balance between work/home.

The school itself invests heavily in intervention and support for it's students, believing that this is paramount to success and to mental wellbeing. You will be entering a supportive and caring environment, and will be treated like a permanent staff member.

Essential requirements:
Experience working with students aged between 11-18
*Experience working in a similar capacity
*All work with Tradewind is subject to an enhanced DBS check and at least 2 suitable references being obtained.
