Are you a great Maths Teacher looking for a new opportunity in Blackburn?

Tradewind Recruitment are currently looking for a hardworking and ambitious Maths Teacher to join this thriving Alternative Provision in the Blackburn. This is a full-time position to start after Easter Monday 20th April 2020 until Christmas with the potential to go permanent.

You shall be teaching a range of Maths over a varied timetable and across Key Stage 3 - Key Stage 4 with pupils at different abilities. You shall be teaching maximum up to 8 pupils in a class the core curriculum and providing extra support as required. The school is passionate about ensuring the students have the environment need to make progress in their learning.

At the Alternative Provision School, they aim to ensure that they give all students the necessary support to improve their confidence, self-esteem and enable them to become successful learners in school and prepared for their future working lives.

* A creative approach to teaching and learning who will engage through inspiring and clear teaching strategies.
* A collaborative and driven individual who will support and lead on the delivery of the subject through inventive approaches.
* The school would like to meet a Maths teacher who potentially would like to take some leadership responsibility in the future.

As a Maths teacher you will have the support of a committed team of teachers who work collaboratively to maintain high standards throughout the school.

The Alternative Provision is located close M65 with free onsite parking, if travelling by public transport there is a bus stop located 10-minute walk from the school.

As a teacher working for Tradewind, you will be required to;
* Hold a Qualified Teacher Status and to have had previous experience working in a classroom based in the U.K.
* Be passionate about making a difference to a student's learning.
* Supportive and understanding of all students' needs.
* Knowledgeable of additional needs and how this can alter a student's learning in the classroom.
* Have a DBS (criminal records check) or being willing to complete one and be willing to undertake other Safer Recruitment and safeguarding checks.
