Tradewind are currently recruiting for an outstanding Maths teacher who will start teaching within a small North Lincolnshire secondary Academy as a full time practitioner from September 2020. The exact contract length is anticipated to be required until January 2021.

As the successful applicant, you will have the knowledge and experience to guide students through their examinations and will have demonstrable results in delivering excellent outcomes for all.
The right candidate will have access to a great support network within the Maths team and enjoy using processes which support staff to manage students effectively.

All planning and marking associated with a teaching position are expected in this role, and for that reason the successful candidate will be paid according to their place on the main pay scale. In real terms, this means a candidate can expect to earn between £125.00 and £189.00 per day, depending on experience and qualifications.

The school prides itself on its family feel and works hard to provide an abundance of pathways to it's students. The school has forged links with local businesses throughout Lincolnshire to enable them to provide links to apprenticeship schemes for students who wish to move in that direction.
For students who follow an academic pathway, extracurricular activities are plentiful allowing them to have additional time to hone their skills and learning.

In terms of timetabling, you can expect to teach an equal measure of KS3&4. Supply staff in this setting are welcomed as part of the team, and you can expect to be treated as a permanent member of staff.
Due to the location of this school, access to your own transport is advised as public transport links are limited. There is ample onsite parking for staff as well as excellent facilities such as fully quipped staffroom and also, subsidised school meals.

* Delivering Key Stage 3 & 4
* Planning, marking and assessment
* Attending training afterschool hours and parents evenings as required
* Promoting positive behaviour


QTS is essential for this post as is a DBS, right to work in the UK and a CV with a full 10 year work history.
