The role is a full-time teaching position is to start in September for two terms with responsibility for teaching Key Stage 3 - 5 and the potential for the role to go permanent. The school requires a female teacher (as supervision will be needed in changing rooms) who can also teach Performing Arts alongside Music.

The responsibilities of this Music teacher role will include:
* Undertaking full class teaching responsibility for Music and Performing Arts from Year 7 through to A Level
* Thoroughly planning lessons making full use of a variety of resources
* Assessing and developing teaching practices to be in line with the ability of the pupils in each class
* Marking work, giving appropriate feedback and preparing students for exams in line with GCSE and A Level requirements

The ideal candidate for this Music Teacher role will:
* Hold Qualified Teacher Status
* Be an outstanding teacher with excellent curriculum subject knowledge or an NQT looking for their first role in education
* Hold at least a 2:1 at degree level
* Be a committed professional with a determination to make a difference

This Ofsted rated 'Good' Church of England school currently educates female pupils from 11-18. The school is located in the south of Liverpool and is easily accessible by car or by bus with a bus stop located a short walk away.
