Are you a passionate music teacher in the Wirral area?

Tradewind are currently working with a school in Wirral who are looking to recruit a music teacher to KS5. This position is to start at the beginning of the new academic year, and is anticipated to last until at least January 2021 on a temporary basis.

This is a large, welcoming academy that is really going from strength to strength and has been graded good by ofsted. The school itself has a warm and welcoming ethos and is well known for having great leadership support as well as good pupil behaviour.
The school is easily accessible from Liverpool and has an on site car park.

As a music teacher in this school, your duties will include:
- Undertaking full class teaching responsibility for music from Year 7 through to Year 13
- Assessing, recording and reporting on the development, progress and attainment of pupils, as well as on their personal and social needs
- Marking work, giving appropriate feedback and preparing students for exams in line with GCSE and A Level requirements
- Attendance at parents evenings and other relevant departmental meetings

To be considered for this music teacher position you will:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status or UK equivalent
- Provide a CV with 10 years working history
- Have recent relevant teaching experience
- Be an outstanding music teacher with excellent curriculum subject knowledge
- Have the legal right to work in the UK
- Be an organised, enthusiastic proactive person
- Hold an enhanced DBS certificate which is on the update service, or be willing to apply
for a new one (costs refunded back to you when you complete 20 days work)
