A state maintained Primary school close to Dagenham station, Barking and Dagenham, is seeking a full-time class teacher to start in September 2020 for the full academic .

This is temp to perm role, with contracts available later on in the academic year.

This role is a class teaching position with responsibility for teaching a Year 3,4 or 5 class, with flexibility upon preference, and with competitive salary available in line with experience (MPS 1-6 Inner London - £30480 - £41483) .


This Ofsted graded 'Good' school situated in Barking and Dagenham are looking to appoint a strong practitioner who has a good work ethic, resilience and the ability to work as part of a team.

The school is lead by a strong senior leadership team consisting of a headteacher who has an open door policy for staff and children alike. Nearly all SLT have teaching responsibilities and this has created a positive ethos in the school where staff feel supported and heard.

The responsibilities of this Primary teacher role will include:
*Undertaking full class teaching responsibility for a Year 3,4 or 5 class
*Planning, preparing and delivering creative and engaging lessons
*Organisation of the classroom and learning resources and the creation of displays to encourage a positive learning environment.

*Use of a Creative Curriculum and to ensure that each child fulfils his or her potential by providing teaching and learning of a high standard


The ideal candidate for this Primary teacher role will:
*Be an outstanding Newly Qualified teacher with excellent references from their placements
*Be patient, fair and a passion for educating Key Stage 2 children
*Someone who recognises and wants to progress within their chosen profession
*Be available and committed for the next academic year

Job Requirements

Hold QTS status or equivalent Primary teaching qualification
Overseas Trained Teachers will be considered if you have a comparable qualification with a UK teaching qualification and you can comply with the other points
This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any employment breaks must be explained
You must have the legal right to work in the UK
Newly qualified teachers with teaching placements in Key Stage 2.
