About the School - Primary Teacher NQT - Lambeth, Inner London

This passionate and tight-knit primary school are based near multiple train and bus links allowing easy access and short journey times from Central London. One of the school's key strengths lies in effective behaviour management which has created a respectful and self-disciplined environment. Attendance is well above average and the children often feedback that they feel that school is safe and exciting. The highly creative curriculum has a large focus on integrating cross curricular opportunities throughout English and Maths. Through the school being a 2-form entry school, there will be joint planning support for this creative practice from another class-year teacher. Additionally, the school is seeking an NQT Primary teacher due to staffing restructure and an upcoming retirement and are therefore flexible with year group. The school is eager to ensure that there is continual support for an NQT through effective links with neighbouring schools which provide supportive moderation and group training sessions with fellow NQTs within the borough. Furthermore, there is regular in-school NQT induction training where a clear plan has been set to ensure as much best practice is seen over the induction year. About the Role - Primary Teacher NQT - Lambeth, Inner London

This NQT post would be suitable for someone who is currently doing their teacher training programme and who is expecting to receive QTS this summer.
The NQT teacher must be passionate about providing a creative curriculum and keen to show from their training lesson examples of this during interview.
The successful NQT must be able to show progress throughout their observations in their training year and be able to reflectively evaluate next steps in practice.
This NQT teacher will be someone who is keen to develop into an "outstanding" teacher through feedback from the leadership team and mentor.
