This Nursery school is bright and spacious; the physical environment is resourced to a high standard with specialist equipment within the sensory room. The Nursery School benefits from a large landscaped garden which is partly sheltered so the children can access the outdoor area in all weathers. Outdoor play is an essential part of nursery life - giving children opportunities to use the environment as a source of learning.

The experienced and dedicated staff are committed to supporting each individual child and work in partnership with parents and carers to ensure that each child receives the care and provision they need to reach their full potential regardless of race, gender or disability. The school values the importance of partnerships with parents. The staff believe the parents are the child's first teacher and value their opinions and support. They believe that children learn through play, and they offer a safe, stimulating learning environment to enable children to develop and make the first steps to becoming independent learners.

All activities, experiences and routines are planned to meet the seven areas of learning from the Early Years Foundation Stage Framework. The nursery routine enables the children to initiate their own play alongside staff conducting focus activities based on children's interests and next steps. The Nursery's aim is to keep children and families at the heart of everything they do and offer the best possible start to their future education. The successful applicant should be an experienced Nursery Teacher with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). The ideal candidate will have some experience of leading a team of Nursery Staff.
