Tradewind is recruiting! We are currently looking for an Outreach worker to work at one of our client schools in Kingswood.

Our client is a SEND setting that caters for Secondary aged pupils, who are excluded from Mainstream education and need 1:1 support. The ideal person is someone with either previous experience of working as an Outreach worker with similar aged pupils or have extensive experience in behaviour management and pastoral support.

The role will start in September and will continue at least until January 2020 and will continue either on a temporary basis through the agency or will become permanent contract with the school.

This role might be ideal for you if:

-You understand from the challenges young people from vulnerable backgrounds face and have worked with similar needs before: SEMH, Trauma, Conduct Disorder, PDA, ADHD.
-You have previously worked with young people with behavioural issues
-You have experience and understanding of child development and learning (curriculum) within a SEND setting or care setting
-You are available full-time and have your own transport
-You have a flexible and conscientious approach to work and able to liase with various agencies such as social workers, foster families and SENCOs and etc
-You are looking for a career in Special educational needs?

Location: Bristol

To join us and be successful in these teaching assistant positions you will need to:

* Have QTS.
Team-teach training is ideal.
Previous experience of teaching students with behavioural issues.
* This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
* Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any employment breaks must be explained
* You must have the legal right to work in the UK
