These Learning Support Assistant roles are available immediately to cover staff sickness and absence over the course of the week. There will be opportunities to work adhoc like this until July 2019, ideal for someone looking for a work-life balance and still wanting to be actively involved in a school environment. The successful candidate will need to be available for work 2-3 days per week.

If your application is successful, you will be a part of a very successful learning support assistant team working in a range of settings and with a range of ages. The settings we support encourage children with additional needs to become lifelong learners who are prepared to go into the world without fear and have the confidence to deal with successes and obstacles along the way. Teaching and learning, and behaviour management are always at very high standards.


The successful learning support assistant will need to have the following experience and attributes:
*Previous experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs
*Calm and nurturing individual who is dedicated to providing a safe and interactive environment
*Resilient and confidence when working with challenging situations and when speaking with parents/carers

Most settings are easily accessible via public transport but parking can be arranged for staff who wish to drive.

School fairs, activities, productions, sporting events and educational trips happen on a regular basis, making these roles a really special and fun experience. Our settings welcome successful staff to join in with all activities in return for dedication and reliability.
