Tradewind Recruitment are looking for a part-time SENCO to work in a primary school in Doncaster.

This is an exciting opportunity that is due to start ASAP. They can consider a range of experience levels for the role. The salary will range from £28,275-£35,100 pro rata.

The SENCO will be working across the primary age range for 1 day a week. The school can be flexible on which day the successful SENCO will work.

The school is a lively, friendly school in a suburban area of Doncaster. They are proud of their inclusive ethos in which all contributions are valued and pupils are given the opportunity to achieve their best. They have a dedicated team of staff and governors. Every effort is made to make learning fun with a rich variety of activities. They value the importance of a partnership between home and school and constantly strive to develop this link.

The children at the school are aged from 3-11 years and they are lucky to have an energetic and happy bunch of children. They aim to provide children with an enriched education which will offer the necessary skills and knowledge in which they can excel. They have done many things within the school to make it individual and special. Their curriculum is flexible and creative, and they go on many school trips to extend learning outside of the classroom.

The school is easily accessible with several bus links and free parking onsite.

-Ability to lead staff in developing their knowledge and expertise in working with SEN children developing outstanding provision and results.

-A committed practitioner who will want to attain the highest standards in teaching and learning throughout their role.
-An adaptable, organised and self-starting individual.
-Excellent communication skills with an ability to liaise with outside agencies.
-Proactive in identifying professional development needs.

-Hold a SENCO qualification or have equivalent experience.
-This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearance (if applicable) and professional reference checks.

-You must have the legal right to work in the UK.
