Tradewind are working alongside an aspirational, supportive "Good" rated academy in Watford, seeking a PE teacher to start at Easter (or sooner if needed) and continue for the rest of the academic year, with the opportunity of a permanent contract for the right teacher.

Our client has a good reputation in the local community and high staff retention, aided by a strong SLT and teacher-led governing body who are committed to the school's continued improvement. Student progress, attainment and attendance have improved dramatically under this management, who prioritise supporting all teaching staff to continually improve their practice.

The school are now seeking a PE teacher who is:
*Committed to student progress and continually improving outcomes
*Enthusiastic, dedicated and able to form a rapport with students in both PE lessons and extracurricular activities
*Creative, engaging and continually developing their teaching practice
*Committed to safeguarding and able to uphold the school's high standard of care for their pupils

This role will entail teaching PE at KS3 and 4, as well as contributing to the school's extracurricular sports provision.


The school is located in Watford with onsite parking and easy access from the M1, M25 and A405, as well as good public transport links to Watford town centre, St Albans and London.

To be considered for this role you will need:
* Certification in teaching or sports coaching
* Experience of teaching sports to young people in the UK
* A legal right to work in the UK (We are not able to offer sponsorship for this role)

You will need to provide
-A current DBS check - we can provide one for you and even repay you for the expense (t&c's apply)
-A complete work history spanning 10 years where applicable
