Tradewind Recruitment is currently looking for an experienced PMLD and SLD specialist to work with secondary SEN pupils who have additional complex needs in a SEN school. The role starts ASAP and would be for the rest of the academic year at a daily rate between £70 and £85 per day.

A large SEN school that works with a wide variety of SEN needs including PMLD and SLD in Hackney are recruiting as they need several SEN TAs to work 121 with secondary age pupils. The school is currently on a temporary site but will be moving to a new purpose-built site in September.

-Experience working with PMLD or SLD pupils is preferred but not essential
-Candidates who have experience with hoisting and tube feeding are encouraged to apply.
-Pupils are non-verbal and have a lot of additional needs as such experience within an SEN school setting is essential.
-PECS and Makaton experience is desired.

You will be working as a support staff member in a team of three who will work throughout the school providing additional support to those classes who need it most throughout the day.

Located in Hackney the school is well connected with the Tube, Overground, rail and buses however there is no parking on site.
