Tradewind Recruitment are seeking an experienced PMLD Teacher for Secondary School starting immediately.

Tradewind are looking to recruit a passionate teacher who is innovative in the classroom to ensure the best possible outcomes to learners. Our teacher would need to be engaging, nurturing to get the best out of our young pupils.

The chosen PMLD Teacher will hold Qualified Teacher Status and have a least two years teaching experience in the UK, as well as experience teaching those with special needs or those with an EHCP. Ideally, you will have previous experience teaching primary or secondary aged pupils with complex needs. The right candidate will be motivated, patient and passionate about the children and their daily learning.

This role is based in an SEN secondary school however due to the ability levels of the students that you will be teaching, this role would also be suitable for a primary teacher that is keen to take a step into SEN.

As a PMLD Teacher, you must have a very adaptive, patient and enthusiastic nature as well as a creative approach to learning as you will be required to plan and teach lessons that will keep all students engaged.

Working within this SEN school you will work alongside a fantastic SLT team who will assist you where possible to reach your full potential in the classroom. The staff have a positive and passionate attitude they are committed to bringing fun and happiness in to the children's daily school routine.

*Hold QTS
*Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any employment breaks must be explained
*You must have the legal right to work in the UK
*Previous experience with Autism or complex needs would be advantageous
