PPA teacher

Are you a flexible teacher experienced teaching year group across Key Stage 1 and 2? Tradewind are working with a primary school in the North Sheffield area who require a qualified teacher on a part time basis from Easter 2021 until the end of the academic year. The role is 3 days a week Monday to Wednesday and will be covering teachers PPA cover.

The successful person would have responseablity for covering lessons from Year 1 to Year 6. Planning will be left by the class teacher but there is an expectation that the marking will be completed.

You will also be expected to attend all in house training courses over this period. Good classroom management is essential for this role as is an ability to quickly build rapport with classes of children.

This is an excellent opportunity for a teacher to gain experience and understanding of all year groups.

The school is part of a large trust which have a strong ethos and promotes a nurturing inclusive setting where all children can thrive. As a result behaviour is generally good across all year groups. Senior Leadership provide a supportive environment where staff feel supported.

The school is well resourced with interactive whiteboards which can be used to engage young learners.

Pay - £130.00 - £145.00 per day.
