Tradewind are recruiting! Are you an experienced Premises Manager or School Caretaker looking for your next role? Tradewind are seeking a full time Premises Manager / School Caretaker to start asap at a specialist School located in Baldock.
The school is based centrally to Baldock and a short walk from the train station if commuting. They are a dynamic and diverse Secondary school dedicated to providing an education to pupils with SEMH. The school is well run and organised by a committed and experienced SLT. Pupil numbers in the school are low and can fluctuate throughout the term, experience of working alongside SEMH pupils is advantageous but not essential. This is a permanent post following a short temporary period offering a salary from £19,344 -£21,106.
The school offer a well supported environment and are looking for an experienced Premises Manager or School Caretaker who will oversea the opening and locking of the school, building maintenance and cleaning. The role is a full-time position for 5 days a week Monday to Friday. You will also be responsible for oversee ing healthy and safety checks, manage a team of cleaners, and carry out general maintenance duties. Prior experience of PAT testing and general maintenance testing is desirable.
Essential requirements:
Prior School Caretaker experience, health and safety training desirable, DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for a DBS (police check), legal right to work in the UK
