A Church of England primary school in the Hampstead, Camden area of London are seeking a full-time Year 5 / 6 Teacher to start in September 2019. The role is a class teaching position with responsibility for teaching a Year 5 class, and with competitive salary available in line with experience (MPS 1-6 Inner London - £29,663 - £40,371)

This Ofsted graded 'Good' Church of England school situated nearby to Finchley Road / Hampstead are looking to appoint an excellent class teacher to join their highly-motivated team in September 2019. A small, friendly school located in the heart of London's most beautiful villages.

This unique, half-form entry school serves the local community, welcoming families of all faiths and none. It is currently in partnership with another small, local primary school and offers successful candidates the opportunity to experience two different settings and be supported by a wider community.

The responsibilities for this Year 5 /6 Class Teacher role will include:
*To ensure the full implementation of agreed policies together with the required National Curriculum Schemes of Work, including the agreed policy and scheme for RE.
*To plan programmes of work at appropriate levels to match the abilities of the children.
*To ensure that the ethos reflects the agreed aims, principles of learning and our policy on equal opportunities and thereby promote the general progress and well-being of each child.
*To maintain good order and discipline among the pupils and safeguard their health & safety both on school premises and on authorised school activities elsewhere.
The ideal candidate for this Year 5 /6 Class Teacher role will have:
*high expectations for the achievement of every pupil
*strong commitment to their own professional development
*excellent communication and interpersonal skills
*high levels of self‐motivation and an eagerness to take a lead
