Tradewind Manchester are currently looking for an experienced Primary Teacher to deliver intervention in a high achieving school in East Manchester. If you are an experienced Key Stage 1 teacher, Tradewind have an unmissable opportunity for you.

Tradewind Manchester is currently looking for an Intervention/Primary Teacher to join an Ofsted rated Good school in the East Manchester area, to start after February half-term 2019. This is a full-time, long-term role which will run until the end of the academic year, paying between £120 - £160 per day depending on your level of experience.

*Hold QTS Status and have completed your NQT and RQT Year
*Be subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional references checks
*Have a proven track record across Key Stage 1 or lower Key Stage 2
*Provide a CV with at least 10 years employment/education history included and any employment breaks must be explained
*Have the legal right to work in the UK

About the school:

We are recruiting flexible, current and knowledgeable KS1 Teacher for a diverse inner-city school in East Manchester. This is a 1.5-form entry school whose mission is to ensure that every child is happy and motivated to succeed. The school is an Ofsted rated 'Good' Primary School.

The school itself offers a warm and welcoming environment to its children and staff and strives for an active partnership with parents to ensure that the children have the best opportunity to reach their full potential.

The school boasts the latest technology in every classroom and a large field and recent refurbished outdoor area for the foundation stage children.

The school is based in East Manchester and is situated within a 5-minute walk of one of the main bus routes which connects Oldham, Manchester and Stockport. There is also ample parking on site.

About the role

This role is an exciting KS1 intervention role where you will team teach across a mixed Year 1/2 class. You will have shared responsibility of the planning and delivery of the curriculum as well as focused interventions with the pupils. This role will also involve 1 days' worth of PPA cover in a Key Stage 1 class.

This is a varied role that involves all areas of teaching without the high intensity of a full time class teaching role.
