Tradewind Preston are seeking to recruit an experience School Business Manager who can hit the ground running and set up SIMs, FSM and Payroll systems within a Blackburn Primary School Office.

This is a Nursery located on the boarder of Blackburn and Darwen and is adjoining a neighbouring Primary school. Many of the children who attend the Nursery go on to attend the local Primary school, and both establishments are overseen by the same Head teacher and Governing Body.

The Nursery has over 120 children on role, most of whom come from the surrounding housing estate. There is a high proportion of pupils attending the nursery who have a range of undiagnosed complex and additional needs. In addition, there is a higher than average amount of pupils on role who arrive at nursery with low abilities in social and speech development.

The successful candidate for this role must have a minimum of 2 years experienced working within a school office, this will include being fully competent on SIMs and FSM. Excellent school-based references are essential for this role and ideally you must be able to start immediately.

The role will be based within the Nursery office and the working hours will be 8am until 4pm, Monday to Friday. The successful candidate will be required to set up and run the Nursery SIMs and FSM system. This will include be responsible for all banking, petty cash and registration of pupils daily.

On the boarder of Blackburn and Darwen, the nursery is easily accessible from Junction 4 and 5 of the M65 and is a ten-minute bus ride from the town center.

This is the perfect opportunity to secure a long-term role, which is likely to be advertised as permanent by October 2018.
