The teacher must have:
- Full QTS (or equivalent teaching qualifications)
- An understanding of the UK curriculum
- EYFS- KS2 are welcome
- Be organised with availability
- A committed, hardworking attitude
- The ability to engage well with colleagues, children and their parents
- Excellent behaviour management skills
- The ability to work effectively within a large team
- Able to jump right in to whatever class you are in
By working as a supply teacher, you get to choose which days you want to work, and which schools you'd like to go to. You are in complete control, and have full flexibility. Each day will be different, and it's a wonderful way to gain experience, or just switch things up from your normal routine.
You will not be required to make your own lessons, they will be there for you, however you will need to ensure the students are engaged and following direction, imagine it was your own class!
It is desired that you are comfortable being with different year groups and schools as each placement will be different!
