Are you a key stage 2 teacher looking for a full time Year 3 position starting in January 2020? Would you like to work in a small primary school who are in the process of expanding due to local demand?

This established community primary school in South East London, are currently looking for a qualified teacher to join them as a part time Year 4 teacher. The position is a job share starting after the Christmas break and is paying an annual salary of up to £41,483.

This primary School was originally a one form entry school with space for 30 children per year group and 50 part-time nursery children. In September 2018 a 'bulge' class was added and there is now two classes (60 children) in both Reception and year 1. The school aims to provide a safe, caring and stimulating environment in which all pupils have the opportunity to achieve their full potential and to become actively involved in their learning. The school encourages care and respect for one another, valuing the diverse needs and backgrounds found within our school community. The ethos of the School is very open and friendly. In 2017 the school was graded as Good in all areas by Ofsted. Teaching is engaging and pupils make good progress.

The school is located between Deptford and Brockley, South East London. It is within walking distance from 2 main tube stations on the northern line as well as an over ground train station. It can also be accessed easily by bus or car and there are parking facilities for staff.

The Headteacher is keen to recruit a Year 3 teacher and is holding interviews before Christmas.

The Year 3 teacher must have:
*QTS
*A good understanding of the KS2 curriculum
*Previous experience of teaching a year 3 class
*Excellent behaviour management skills
*The ability to work in a team and support others
*The skills to enable to students to think and work independently
