The start date is flexible for the right candidate in the current situation, and the role is to cover for maternity for 12 months. Inner London MPS salary available - £30480 - £41483, dependent upon experience. NQTs and Overseas Trained Teachers are welcome to apply for this role.

For this Early Years Class Teacher role, the school are seeking committed, positive and ambitious candidates who are:
Evidence of continuing and recent professional development relevant to the post
Proven ability to make a positive impact in leading a subject or area beyond own class and successfully developing staff through leading professional development
Proven record of raising standards for all pupils, including underachieving pupils
Experience of promoting positive behaviour conducive to learning, focused on raising standards.
Experience of promoting highly effective communications within and between teams and other stakeholders in the school community
A passion for teaching and investing in the development of the profession
Fantastic resilience with a real 'can do attitude'
A wiliness to go over and above 'the call of duty'
A great sense of humour.
The core duties of this Early Years Class Teacher role are:
Teach a class, working constructively as a member of staff within the whole school team, including the setting and marking of work to be carried out by the pupils in school and elsewhere, planning differentiated work to meet the needs of individuals and groups providing progression and continuity
Plan, teach, monitor and evaluate the education programme for the children taught, using knowledge of school policies, schemes of work and national curriculum requirements for the relevant curricular areas.
Assess, record and report on the development, progress and attainment of pupils; using a variety of methods according to national curriculum requirements and school policies.

The school is located in Greenwich and is very accessible via public transport, with National Rail train station nearby and bus stop from several Overground stations outside the school. Parking is also available.

To join us and be successful in this Early Years Class Teacher role you will need to:
Hold QTS status or equivalent teaching qualification
This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any employment breaks must be explained
You must have the legal right to work in the UK
