The school are seeking a Year 1 class teacher who is passionate about teaching and learning to undertake a full-time role from February 2019. The start date is flexible for the right candidate, and the role is to cover for maternity for 12 months. Outer London MPS salary available - £26,662-£37,645, dependent upon experience. The core duties of this Year 1 Class Teacher role are:
*Teach a class, working constructively as a member of staff within the whole school team, including the setting and marking of work to be carried out by the pupils in school and elsewhere, planning differentiated work to meet the needs of individuals and groups providing progression and continuity
*Plan, teach, monitor and evaluate the education programme for the children taught, using knowledge of school policies, schemes of work and national curriculum requirements for the relevant curricular areas.
*Assess, record and report on the development, progress and attainment of pupils; using a variety of methods according to national curriculum requirements and school policies.
The school is located in Enfield and is very accessible via public transport, with National Rail train station nearby and bus stop from several Overground stations outside the school. Parking is also available.
