Are you looking for a Key Stage 2 Teacher role with Literacy Lead at a 'Good' Primary school in North London?

The Governors of a Primary school in the Islington area wish to appoint an experienced Primary teacher to start in September 2019 on a permanent basis. This exciting role will involve sharing the teaching of a Key Stage 2 class alongside taking responsibility for Literacy leadership across the school. The position comes with a competitive salary, in line with experience (MPS / UPS Inner London - £29,664-£47,298, dependent upon experience, TLR available for MPS teachers)

This Ofsted graded 'Good' with 'Outstanding' features school situated nearby to Highbury and Islington are looking to appoint an outstanding and inspirational teacher to join their team in September 2019. The headteacher is looking for an experienced Primary teacher who is keen to deliver the school's challenging but highly inclusive curriculum to a Year 4 class alongside co-ordinating the delivery of the Mathematics curriculum across the school.

The responsibilities for this Key Stage 2 Teacher and Literacy Lead role will include:
*Having overall leadership of the development of Literacy throughout the school; ensuring that the highest standards of English learning and teaching are afforded to all.
*Undertaking class teaching responsibility for a Year 4 class
*Assessing, recording and reporting on the development, progress and attainment of pupils, as well as on their personal and social needs
*Creating a classroom where children work in a purposeful and stimulating environment that supports a wide range of learning styles
*to teach a balanced Curriculum and to ensure that each child fulfils his or her potential by providing teaching and learning of a high standard.

The ideal candidate for this Key Stage 2 Teacher and Literacy Lead role will:
*Have experience of leading Literacy across a primary school or phase
*Be an outstanding teacher with excellent subject knowledge
*Exhibit an 'above and beyond attitude'
*Have a proven track record of achieving high standards.
*Have very high expectations of the school's children
*Have excellent behaviour management skills
*Demonstrate outstanding organisational skills
