Tradewind Recruitment are currently recruiting for a confident and professional Year 5 Teacher to join this cheerful primary school in Islington from September 2021. This is a one term position working in a Year 5 class with the possibility of becoming permanent in 2021.
The school is a 0-11 community primary school in a very central location on the edge of the City. The school is growing to a 2-form entry, with it being up to Year 3 in September and 1 form entry in the other KS2 year groups. The school is in a lovely new building that is only 3 years old. The most recent Ofsted report graded this year was 'Good'.
The school are looking for:
- A confident Year 5 teacher who can differentiate lessons to suit children of all abilities.
- An encouraging person who has high expectations about what children can achieve and the subject knowledge to enable children to rise to these.
- A positive person who is confident in planning, preparation, and delivery across the KS2 curriculum.
To be successful in this role you will need to:
- Hold QTS status or equivalent teaching qualification.
- At least 2 years' experience working in KS2.
- Experience teaching SEND children.
- Sound knowledge of the British curriculum.
- This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS disclosure, Overseas Police Clearance (if applicable) and professional reference checks.
- Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any employment breaks must be explained.
- You must have the legal right to work in the UK.
