A primary school in Islington are seeking a full-time Year 2 Teacher to start ASAP, for the remainder of the academic year. Competitive salary available in line with experience (MPS 1-4 Inner London - £29,663 - £34,547). Permanent position available in September 2019 for the right candidate.

The responsibilities for this Year 2 Class Teacher role will include:
*Plan and deliver high quality teaching and learning to secure the highest possible levels of attainment for all children
*Set high expectations for all children at the school
*Evaluate pupil performance and identify priorities for continuous improvement
*Encourage the involvement of parents and carers
*Create a learning environment that is engaging, happy and fulfilling for all children
*Demonstrate a commitment to your own Continuing Professional Development (CPD) and supporting the development of others.
The ideal candidate for this Year 2 Class Teacher role will:
*1-2 years post-qualification teaching experience in a primary setting
*Recent experience of teaching Key Stage 1 children
*Evidence of outstanding teaching and learning and how this has been evaluated
*Ability to develop creative and innovate strategies for performance improvement
*Evidence of robust planning and delivery of relevant schemes of work to show what engages children and enables them to make excellent progress
