Primary Teacher

Tradewind is recruiting for an EYFS Teacher for a September 2021 start - are you looking for a new post to start the next school year?

Salary = £30480 - £41483 per annum

**About the role**

The perfect candidate will be someone who will teach outstanding lessons in line with the curriculum which is based on the EYFS Development Matters document for children from birth to age 5, which was implemented in 2008 and revised in 2017. It is for all children, including those with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities. This curriculum is followed throughout Nursery and Reception in school. The learning environment is set up with furniture and resources for children to have rich and stimulating experiences, based on these Characteristics of Effective Learning. It is carefully planned to encourage engagement, motivation and thinking, and has well organised resources that children can easily access. It provides the structure for teaching within which children explore, experiment, plan and make decisions for themselves, thus enabling them to learn, develop and make good progress.

**About the School**

This school has 440 children on roll. They have fourteen classes, a library, an adjoining hall and easily accessible computing resources, including desktop stations and laptop/iPad trolleys. This wonderful Primary School in Greenwich is set in spacious grounds with two playgrounds and a large playing field.

The Nursery and Reception classes benefit from secure outside areas, including canopied areas, which enable all year-round free flow outside learning. Over the last few years, they've developed the outside area to include an outside classroom, wildlife garden and large play equipment.

The indoor and outdoor environments are continually reviewed - based on staff observation and reflection, and these allow children sustained periods of time to become engrossed in learning.

Their aim is to meet children's desires to: move freely and use all their senses; talk, listen, ask questions and communicate; build and construct; represent and make; role-play; hear stories and imagine.

The school has the aim through a positive caring environment, they provide the opportunity for every child to reach their full potential.
