A large junior school on the borders of Southwark and Lewisham, South East London, are currently recruiting! They are looking for a Year 4 teacher. The position starts in September 2019 paying an annual salary of up to £39,006.

The school is extremely popular and over-subscribed in a great location on the borders of Southwark and Lewisham. It is a 3-form entry junior school educating and supporting children from year 3 up to year 6. The Headteacher has been at the school for over 20 years, starting off as a class teacher and working her way up to the top. This means she has a thorough understanding of the school and sets high standards for her staff. Teachers here are expected to work closely together and do things as a team. The school building itself is traditional and there are excellent facilities on site. There are outdoor play areas for break times and useful inside spaces for children to benefit from. The school has recently been rated as a 'Good' school with excellent behaviour.

The school is a short walk from 2 local mainline stations with frequent trains from Cannon street and London Bridge taking around 30 minutes. There are also excellent bus links from South East and across central London.

The Headteacher is keen to recruit a Year 4 teacher

The Year 4 teacher must have:
*Full QTS (or equivalent teaching qualifications)
*Experience as a year 4 teacher or experience teaching in key stage 2
*Excellent behaviour management
*Professionalism, adaptability and a hard-working attitude
*The ability to engage well with colleagues, children and their parents
*Adaptability, creativeness and a willingness to help wherever possible
