Are you an experienced Year 1 Primary Teacher looking to teach in a friendly and supportive school in Waltham Forest for an ASAP start?

This two-form, Primary School is looking for a flexible Year 1 teacher who can commit from January until July 2019. This is a long-term teaching role with the opportunity to become permanent in September. Rates of between £140 - £170 per day, depending on experience are being offered.

Although this Ofsted rated "Good" school has high expectations of teaching and learning and behaviour in the school, they also believe in a work/life balance for their staff. Teachers are not expected before 8.15AM and rarely stay beyond 4.30PM.
This is a welcoming Primary School where staff are valued, children have high expectations of behaviour and learning can take place.

The school offers the children and staff the opportunity to be creative and innovative in their approach to learning and teaching, using approaches and strategies that value effort, perseverance, co-operation, collaboration, problem solving and leadership skills within an inclusive, happy and stimulating learning environment.

The Year 1 class are settled with some very bright children who will benefit from an experienced teacher who has recent Year 1 teaching experience, confident teaching phonics and good spoken and written English.

To join us and be successful in this Year1 Teaching role you will need to:
-Hold QTS status or equivalent teaching qualification
-Overseas Trained Teachers will be considered if you have a comparable qualification with a UK teaching qualification and you can comply with the other points
-This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
-Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any employment breaks must be explained
-You must have the legal right to work in the UK
