Tradewind Recruitment are currently recruiting for a confident and professional Year 5 Teacher to join this cheerful primary school in Islington from September 2020. This is a one term position working in a Year 5 class with the possibility of becoming permanent in 2021.



The school is a 0-11 community primary school in a very central location on the edge of the City. The school is growing to a 2-form entry, with it being up to Year 3 in September and 1 form entry in the other KS2 year groups. The school is in a lovely new building that is only 3 years old. The most recent Ofsted report graded this year was 'Good'.



The school are looking for:

A confident Year 5 teacher who can differentiate lessons to suit children of all abilities.
An encouraging person who has high expectations about what children can achieve and the subject knowledge to enable children to rise to these.
A positive person who is confident in planning, preparation, and delivery across the KS2 curriculum.


To be successful in this role you will need to:

Hold QTS status or equivalent teaching qualification.
At least 2 years' experience working in KS2.
Experience teaching SEND children.
Sound knowledge of the British curriculum.
This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS disclosure, Overseas Police Clearance (if applicable) and professional reference checks.
Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any employment breaks must be explained.
You must have the legal right to work in the UK.
