We have a fantastic Primary School that is looking for a Year 1 primary teacher for a role due to start in February.

Tradewind Recruitment is currently recruiting for a full-time Year 1 primary teacher to join this "outstanding" school based in Kensington and Chelsea, for a February start. This role is due to last until July 2020 and the salary will be Inner London scale £30480 - £41483. There may be possibility of this role continuing in September, or in a similar role at the school.

This is a two-form entry school(2 classes per year group), located in the a lovely part of London and well-served by public transport. They are led by a dedicated Headteacher and high quality senior leadership team and the school has a very good reputation locally. The school is well-resourced and has some excellent facilities.

Most children at the school join with levels below the national average, especially in speaking and listening and leave at the end of key stage 2 with levels at or above national average. This is a result of the dedication and the commitment of the school team. The Headteacher's aim is to encourage children to become independent learners and to provide them with the skills to do this.
Behaviour at the school is good, with children motivated to learn.

-Hold QTS status or equivalent teaching qualification
-Overseas Trained Teachers will be considered if you have a comparable qualification with a UK teaching qualification and you can comply with the other points
-This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
-Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any employment breaks must be explained
-You must have the legal right to work in the UK
