Class Teacher

Tradewind are recruiting! We have a wonderful Primary school looking for a KS2 Class Teacher to start ASAP for a school in South Cambridge

Tradewind Recruitment is currently looking for a committed, positive KS2 Class Teacher to join this 1-form entry Primary school based in South Cambridge for an ASAP start. This is a full-time contract role and the salary will be Main Pay scale.

The school has a community feel and the successful candidate will join a growing school. This is an exciting time for the school and it would be great for a new teacher to start now and really make an impression as the school could also look to offer a permanent contract from September 2020. In the near future, there could be leadership or TLR opportunities.

We are looking for:

-This primary school are looking for a KS2 Class Teacher who can deliver high quality lessons to upper KS2.
-A Teacher that has experience in KS2. NQTs will be considered as there is a strong and experienced partner teacher in the opposite class
-A person with a high work ethic, that is driven and will always look to go above and beyond without question.
-Someone that is reflective on their own practice and always looking to develop professionally.

This is a role for a KS2 Class Teacher. The school would like to have the successful candidate work in Year 5 but would consider a Year 6 specialist and switch current structure in school. The School could also consider someone that can only work part time 3 days a week Mon-Wednesday for a Y5/6 split class.

The school is accessible by car and due to the location of this school public transport would not be a viable long term option.

To join us and be successful in this KS2 Class Teacher role you will need to:

-Hold QTS status or equivalent teaching qualification
-Overseas Trained Teachers will be considered if you have a comparable qualification with a UK teaching qualification and you can comply with the other points
-This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
-Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any employment breaks must be explained
-You must have the legal right to work in the UK
