Are you an experienced or newly qualified teacher, in Tower Hamlets looking for a new teaching role at a local school in September 2019? If so, Tradewind Recruitment wants to hear from you!

A two-form entry Primary School on the borders of Tower Hamlets and Newham, East London, are currently recruiting! They are looking for a Year 4 teacher to start in September and is paying an annual salary of up to £39,006.

The school is extremely popular and over-subscribed in a great central location. It is a two-form entry Primary school educating and supporting children from Nursery - Year 6.

The Headteacher has been at the school for the past few years and has made significant changes which has led to a rise in attainment; improvement in behaviour and happier staff!

The Headteacher has a thorough understanding of the school and sets high standards for her staff. Teachers at the school work independently and plan collaboratively. The school building itself is traditional and there are excellent facilities on site. There are outdoor play areas for break times and useful inside spaces for children to benefit from. The school has recently been rated as a 'Good' school with excellent behaviour.

The school has a large car park and is accessible by the DLR, Tube and bus routes.

The Year 4 teacher must have:

Full QTS (or equivalent teaching qualifications)
Ideally have Y4 or KS2 UK teaching experience (or teaching placements)
A positive attitude and the ability to work closely with colleagues, carers and the community
Ambition - this is a school that is encouraging of teachers' careers and promote accordingly
