Tradewind recruitment are seeking to appoint a committed and caring Year 1 Teacher on behalf of a super Salford school. This role is to cover sabbatical leave commencing in September 2020 until the end of the academic year. This full time, long term role boasts a competitive salary and excellent CPD opportunities. As the Year 1 teacher you will be supporting the class through the transition from play based learning into a more formal setting.
You will also be expected to:
*Full class teaching responsibilities for a Year 1 class
*Thoroughly planning lessons that inspire creativity
*Assessing, recording, and reporting on the development, progress, and attainment of pupils, as well as their personal and social needs.
*Teaching a balanced curriculum and ensuring that each child fulfils their potential by providing high levels of teaching and professional standards.
*Working collaboratively with other class groups throughout the school.


Essential requirements:
*Qualified Teacher Status and minimum 1 year of experience preferably Key stage 1
*References which support successful classroom teaching within Key Stage 1
*A good grasp of ICT to support learning
*Availability from January and the commitment for the rest of the academic year
*Eagerness to commit to the whole school community
*Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
*The right to work in the U.K
