Due to an increase in admission numbers, our 'Good' client school are seeking a PSHE Teachcr to start immediately or from the October half term at their High Wycombe site, with the role to continue through the school year until summer, and possibly permanently.
The role is at an inclusive school of 900 seeking to appoint an PSHE coordinator who will teach and also coordinate a small PSHE team of non-specialists. Full commitment and high standards are expected in return for accredited CPD and expectations.
Behaviour in the school is good for the majority and on the odd occasion it's need the behaviour policy is simple, effective and well used throughout the school. Pupils are keen to learn and respect their fellow pupils and the timetable compromises of classes across years 7, 8,9 and 10. The department is 8 strong and a nice balance of experience and newly qualified teachers.
The successful teacher will have a passion for PSHE and a track record of engaging teaching. You will hold and embody the highest expectations of your pupils and will have the drive and ambition to create an outstanding environment for learning.
