SANZA Teaching Agency is currently working with a two-form entry primary school currently looking for a Reception Class Teacher to join their team for the summer term, April 2021. The Reception class Teacher position will continue until the end of the academic year with the opportunity for a permanent contract for September 2021. This two-form entry primary school is base in the London borough of Wandsworth and is proud to be the first purpose built Muslim Voluntary Aided Primary School in the Country. The modern accommodation boasts comfortable, well-equipped classrooms, a swimming pool and large sports hall. The school is undergoing expansion from two to three forms of entry. This an inclusive school community and thier pupils come from diverse cultures and backgrounds, with over 25 languages spoken by their families. This Reception Teaching position is paying a salary grade range on the main Scale or Upper Pay Scale depending on experience, £31,480 - £49,571 per annum. This school welcomes NQTs and is offering a full NQT package and support for the right candidate.

The Headteacher of this primary school is currently looking for a resilient and nurturing Reception class teacher to work closely with a highly skilled EYFS team. As a Reception Class Teacher, you will be working with two other Reception teachers and you will share the workload. This gives you additional time to focus on individual learning and inspiring students in your care. You will also have a Teaching Assistant in your class and a part-time HLTA that focuses on interventions.

To be shortlisted for this Reception Class Teaching position you need to:

  • Have thorough understanding of the UK EYFS Framework
  • Be passionate about Early Years and enjoy working in a team
  • Have a good sense of humour
  • Assess, record and report on the development, progress and attainment of pupils in line with the requirements of the EYFS or National Curriculum
  • To ensure that children's work is valued by managing the provision of good, interactive displays in the classroom
