On behalf of our client school, Tradewind is looking for an outstanding Early Years practitioner to teach a Reception class and join an established EYFS team at a wonderful Primary School in South Manchester. This Reception class teacher role will begin in September 2020 and you will be required for the full academic year. As the school are looking for the best talent in the area, your pay rate will be negotiable and will match your experience and suitability to the job.
The Role
This one-form entry, OFSTED rated 'Good' Primary School in a suburb of south Manchester are looking for an experienced EYFS Teacher to join their team. They are looking for an individual who can lead their class of 30 Reception children into year 1. You will be creative in your approach and have the awareness that children of this age need to progress sufficiently in their Reception year to ensure they are ready for the formal learning approach of Year 1 and beyond. This class is currently a Nursery class of 30 children and you will have 1 full time classroom Teaching Assistant as your main source of support.

Your key responsibilities
*Teaching a Reception class
*Teaching all core and foundation primary subjects.
*Ensuring that all children make the minimum expected progress throughout the year
*Creatively linking subjects together to plan thematically
*Planning for, directing and working with a teaching assistant

To be considered for this role we require you meet the following criteria;
*Hold a relevant teaching qualification with QTS, such as a PGCE, B.Ed or a BA Hons.
*Have EYFS experience or a relevant qualification
*Have eligibility to work in the UK or be a UK resident.
*Have at least 2 years' worth of school-based experience of working in a UK primary school setting.
*
*Two suitable references covering the last 2 years.
*Hold a current DBS that is registered with the update service or be willing to apply for a new one.
