Tradewind Recruitment are currently working with a high achieving school in Brent to recruit a Reception Teaching Assistant to join their team on a full-time basis. This role is due to commence in ASAP and will last until July 2019. The successful candidate will be available for work 5 days per week. Working hours will be 8:30-16:00 and the daily rate of pay will be £75.00-£85.00 per day.

If your application is successful, you will be a part of an inclusive and creative Early Years team. The school are lucky enough to have staff and parents who constantly to deliver the best possible education and experience for their pupils. The school have high expectations and ensure every child is provided with equal opportunities to maximise their potential. Behaviour in school is outstanding as all pupils love to learn and attend school. Children make good progress and become independent learners within a happy, safe and secure learning environment. They currently admit pupils from Nursery to Year 6 with 30 pupils in each class. The school is well resourced with indoor and outdoor learning spaces equipped to the highest standard. The school is very inclusive and cares for children from several different ethnic and socio economic backgrounds.


The successful candidate will have the following experience and attributes:
*Previous experience supporting pupils in Early Years Foundation Stage or Key Stage One
*A calm and nurturing character
*A creative and engaging practitioner
*Experience supporting pupils diagnosed with Autism.

This role will require you to support a Reception class on a full-time basis. Your main responsibility will be to a diagnosed with Autism. The pupil has an EHCP in place which will be following and implementing daily. The right candidate for this role will be nurturing and calm and have previous experience supporting SEN pupils. You will be required to create fun and engaging activities to stimulate the child's learning. The right candidate for this role will be a fun, creative and nurturing practitioner.

The school is easily accessible via the Northern Line. Parking is available for staff who wish to drive.

The position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas police Clearances and professional reference checks.
