Tradewind Manchester are supporting a one-form entry Salford-based primary school in recruiting a Relief Caretaker. This is a full-time temporary role with an immediate start, finishing in August 2021.

To be considered for this position you must have a proven track record of supporting maintenance teams in the past. You should be able to multi-task and be flexible with the tasks that you will be performing each day. Your communication and interpersonal skills should be excellent, and knowledge of computers and mobile phone applications is required. You will be crucial in maintaining the security of the site, and ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for students, staff and parents.

To join us and be successful in this SEND Learning Support Assistant role, you will need to:
*Have experience of maintaining buildings, especially in a school environment
*Have DIY experience
*A commitment to training and professional development
*Ability to communicate effectively with contractors, staff, parents and especially students
*Be adaptable and flexible

This role will include:
-Opening and closing the school premises
-Carrying out minor repairs
-Attend to emergency callouts if required
-Conduct Health & Safety checks and ensure the premises is compliant at all times
-Comply with school policies regarding safeguarding
