Tradewind are recruiting! Are you a dedicated RE and Philosophy Teacher looking for your next role in Kent? Tradewind Recruitment is currently seeking a hardworking, ambitious RE and Philosophy Teacher to join a thriving Academy near Maidstone, Kent from September 2020. This is a full time, long-term role of one academic year, with a salary paid in line with the current MPS/UPS scale.
We are currently seeking to appoint an ambitious, determined academic to the post of Teacher of Philosophy, to join a welcoming, successful department. This position would suit an NQT or an experienced teacher who possesses the ability to teach all ages up to A Level (Religious Studies and/or Philosophy). With a good honour's degree from a top university, you will be willing to be fully involved in all aspects of the school's busy life.
The school facilities are modern and purpose-built for contemporary needs and requirements. These facilities enable the youngest of our pupils to thrive in an environment designed for their needs. There are dedicated music facilities, the most advanced ICT resources, a modern library and state of the art science labs, making this a place specifically designed to stimulate and motivate bright young minds.
To be successful in this role you will need to:
*Hold QTS status or equivalent teaching qualification.
*Have excellent knowledge of the RE and Philosophy curriculum.
*This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS disclosure, Overseas Police Clearance (if applicable) and professional reference checks.
*Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any employment breaks must be explained.
*You must have the legal right to work in the UK.
