EYFS Teaching Assistant

Tradewind Recruitment is currently recruiting on behalf of a two-form entry Primary School in central Oldham to start in September 2018. This is a long-term role with a salary of £55 per day.

*A Level 3 Teaching Assistant who has previous experience of teaching Read, Write Inc within EYFS.
*A passionate and hard-working Teaching Assistant who has experience taking groups of students for interventions and boosters.
*A committed practitioner, who will want to attain the highest standards in teaching and learning throughout their role.

Starting in October, the successful Teaching Assistant will be supporting students across EYFS, within both Nursery and Reception. They will be helping the class teacher to plan and deliver lessons around Read, Write Inc, Phonics, Numeracy and Literacy. They may also be required to take the class in the absence of the class teacher.

The school is in central Oldham and is easily accessible via bus or car.

The school were recently rated as 'Good' by Ofsted with mention on the improvements in teaching standards since the last time Ofsted were in. The new Head has put a lot of focus on CPD ensuring all staff have access to the best career development. They have also focused on ensuring the right provisions are in place in each classroom, ensuring TA support is standard and that any additional support is in place should the classroom warrant it.

To join us and be successful in this Teaching Assistant role you will need to:
*Hold a Level 3 Teaching Assistant or equivalent qualification
*This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
*Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any employment breaks must be explained
*You must have the legal right to work in the UK
