Tradewind Recruitment is currently looking for a hardworking, ambitious School Attendance Officer in join a thriving Secondary School in South Manchester, for September 2018, and potentially until the end of the academic year. This is a full-time post paying a minimum of £65 per day, depending on experience.

This school is a popular Secondary Academy, who achieved 'Good' in their recent Ofsted inspection. They pride themselves on creating an inclusive, energetic learning environment who promote excellence, aspiration, leadership and success. The Academy is seeking an exceptional candidate to take responsibility for the general management of its library as a resource base, and to also provide intervention support.

We are looking for someone with:
*Experience of working in a secondary school
*Knowledge of SIMS is desirable
*Ideal candidates will have experience in a similar position

The role:
Regular tasks will include:
*Pupil attendance monitoring
*Dealing with parental concerns/queries
*Dealing with telephone queries
*Compiling attendance letters and reports
*Manage first aid for all pupils
*Assisting the School Administrator and Headteacher with other administrative duties

The school is based in South Manchester, which is accessible from Manchester City Centre, with excellent public transport links and ample parking is available.
