Tradewind are seeking a full time School Caretaker to start at a Secondary School along with 2 satellite schools in Chesterfield. For the right candidate the role will start immediately after the Spring Bank Holiday.
The school is based in a small residential area of Chesterfield. They are a dynamic and diverse Trust dedicated to providing a stimulating, inclusive and nurturing learning environment. They have a supportive Senior Leadership team and offer fantastic CPD. The salary will range from £18,850-£22,550.
They are looking for an experienced School Caretaker who will oversee the opening and locking of the schools, building maintenance and cleaning. The role is a full-time position for 5 days a week Monday to Friday. Ideally the hours would be set on a split shift basis 8am-12.00pm / 3.00pm-6.00pm each day. The successful caretaker will be required to complete general maintenance around the schools, some grounds maintenance, cleaning and small repairs.
Essential requirements:
Prior School Caretaker experience, health and safety training desirable, DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for a DBS (police check), legal right to work in the UK
