Person Specification:
*Do you have experience as a Caretaker?
*Are you looking for work on the run up to Christmas?
*Do you have good access to Newham in East London?
*Are you willing to get involved in a range of jobs on a school's premises?
This position is a short-term role lasting from 2nd December to 6th December and the school will also require the successful candidate to take part in a 30-minute handover on 29th November. It is a split shift role, and the hours for the week would be 6.00am-9.30am and 2.45pm-6.30pm.
To access the school, the closest station is Plaistow in Newham which can be accessed on the District and Hammersmith & City Lines.
Role Specifics:
*Opening and closing the school gates
*Locking up the school at the end of the day
*Keeping the school and premises tidy
*Reading the booklet on the guidelines for the role at the school
*A background in construction or being good at DIY would be helpful
*Common sense needed to help around the school
*Willingness to get involved in a range of jobs (changing light bulbs, sweeping the playground, keeping hallways clear and tidy)
