Tradewind are currently working with a large secondary school in Wirral, who after a recent resignation, are looking for a school caretaker. This position is initially a temporary position to start in August 2020 and is anticipated to continue until December 2020, with a view to becoming permanent in January 2021 for the right candidate.

As the school caretaker, you will be responsible as the main Key Holder, opening and closing of the school; supporting the cleaners in their duties and completing general maintenance and DIY around the school and grounds as required to ensure high standards are maintained.

What you'll need to succeed; prior school experience would be an advantage but is not essential. Previous key holding experience is a must though. You will be reliable and punctual as the responsibility for opening the school on time will rest with you. You will be comfortable taking on general maintenance, DIY and cleaning roles throughout the day.
Appointment to this post is dependent on completing an enhanced DBS check.

We are offering a competitive rate of pay from £10 - £12 per hour for this role.

- Have the legal right to work in the UK
- Be an organised, enthusiastic proactive person
- Hold an enhanced DBS certificate which is on the update service, or be willing to apply
for a new one (costs refunded back to you when you complete 20 days work)
