School Office Manager - Kings Norton

Tradewind Recruitment are looking for an engaging and enthusiastic School office manager to work at a small primary school in Kings Norton, Birmingham. The successful candidate MUST have CMIS/SIMS software experience and can demonstrate excellent communication as well as interpersonal skills.To be considered for this role you will need to have relevant experience working within administration within a school setting previously.

Finance experience is essential, however a full handover will be given before taking the reins, as well as support from other team members. This position is on a temp to perm basis for the successful candidate and will be full time, 5 days per week.

Key responsibilities include:

- Covering reception, being the first point of contact meeting and greeting visitors and dealing with enquiries
- Answering the telephone, taking messages and distributing the messages as appropriate
- Data Entry including the input of confidential pupil and attendance data using SIMS
- Providing a full range of secretarial skills including typing, copying, updating records, filing, distributing post, dealing with deliveries and booking meetings
- Ad Hoc duties include organising and booking school trips, collecting dinner money, typing the school newsletter and taking minutes if required
