Are you an engaging Science Teacher currently seeking a new role from September?
Would you like to work in an Ofsted rated 'Good' school in the district of Barking and Dagenham?

Tradewind Recruitment have been asked by a medium sized secondary school in Chadwell Heath to assist them with the appointment of a full time Science Teacher from September 2021. The successful Teacher of Science will be expected to take on the full classroom and teaching responsibilities with the school able to offer either a permanent, temporary to permanent or ongoing supply arrangement. The school can consider applications from those with experience or NQT's, with full induction support provided for those in the early stages of their teaching career.

The school is part of a highly successful and supportive network. Effective strategies are in place to ensure developments are well structured and focused. Progress is made from all starting points and outcomes at GCSE and A Levels continue to improve. Pupil behaviour and attendance is good with students keen to learn.

The successful Science Teacher will be:
Able to confidently teach General Science up to GCSE level and ideally have a proven track record of successful exam results.
Able to offer Physics up to KS5/A Level or show strong potential in being able to do so.
A committed practitioner, who will want to attain the highest standards in teaching and learning throughout their role.
A collaborative and driven individual who will support and lead on the delivery of their lessons through creative approaches to the Science curriculum.

To be successful in this Science teaching role you will:
Hold QTS or equivalent teaching qualifications.
Be subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearance (if applicable and professional reference checks.
Provide a CV covering the last 10 years of employment history, where possible, and any employment breaks must be explained.
Have the legal right to work in the UK.
